(a)Β It shall be unlawful to discharge any gun, pistol or other firearm on or across any public property, or across any thoroughfare or property line within the City of Oak Leaf, Texas; except that such firearms may be discharged by any party upon his own property and upon the property of another only when acting in such other person’s presence and with his permission.
(b)Β Any person violating this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to punishment by fine in accordance with the general penalty provision found in Section 1.106 of this code.
