(a) The subdivider shall be required to furnish, with his or her plat, satisfactory evidence, including (but without limitation) the results of soil tests and borings, and statements from local and state health authorities, water engineers and other proper officials, that water satisfactory for human consumption may be obtained and that soil conditions are such that satisfactory sewage disposal can be provided by the use of approved septic tanks or similar devices.
(b) Water Line Specifications.
(1) Water source main lines - eight-inch (8″) PVC SDR eighteen (18) or equal.
(2) Subdivision lines - six-inch (6″) PVC SDR eighteen (18) or equal.
(3) Long side service - 1 1/2 inch class two hundred fifty (250) polybutylene in three inch (3″) PVC sleeve or equal.
(4) Fire hydrants - Mueller standard six hundred feet (600′) or less apart.
(5) Ample cutoff.
(6) Meter boxes - side by side where possible.
(7) Lines to have thirty-six inch (36″) cover - sand four inches (4″) under and twelve inches (12″) over.
